LEVEL MEASUREMENT WITH GUIDED RADAR Part 2 - Reliable measurement despite internals

Stefan Kaspar and Matthias Schmidt look at level measurement in vessels with internal obstructions. They show how the Vegaflex Series 80 guided radar sensors can be equipped with coaxial probes that are not influenced by irregularities within the vessel being measured. The coaxial probe also increases measurement certainty in media with poor reflective properties, such as liquefied gases.
