...for finger, hand and body protection
Thanks to compact dimensions, simple installation technology and optimum performance, PSENopt devices are particularly suitable for applications in areas where an ergonomic work environment is an absolute must. For example, where operator intervention is required as part of each cycle, such as insertion work, or the infeed and outfeed of material on machinery.
Easy-to-use functions offer high flexibility and economy
PSENopt light beam devices provide a simple, cost-effective alternative for area guarding in Categories 2 and 4 in accordance with EN 954-1. The operating range of the sensors is up to 8 m in infrared technology and up to 40 m in laser technology. Operating status and correct alignment are displayed via LEDs.
For stricter safety requirements select the optimum safety sensor for finger, hand or body protection. PSENopt light curtains/light grids provide additional functionalities such as muting, blanking or cascading. So for example, the cascadable light grid PSENopt is particularly good value when it comes to preventing encroachment behind the protected area.
Applications
- Greater productivity with ergonomic workshops
Muting, blanking and/or cascading open up a wide range of possibilities for incorporating PSENopt into your plant in the optimum way. With PSENopt you can protect your staff and capital goods - safely, efficiently and economically. An invisible protected field of infrared beams protects the danger zones. If a light beam is broken it will immediately trigger a safe shutdown command.
