The DCXL series offers OEM customers gage or differential low pressure measurement from 1 to 30 inch water column (2.5 to 75 mbar). A proprietary dual chip compensation technique provides for highest offset stability in respect of temperature changes, warm-up, lifetime and position sensitivity in comparison to conventional sensors. The DCXL sensors feature high accuracy and are calibrated and precision temperature compensated from 0 to 50 °C.
The DCXL series of precision low pressure sensors features a redesigned stress concentration enhanced structure for improved performance characteristics. In this new design, the outer package embodying the two mounting holes is mechanically decoupled from the inner part holding the silicon sensing elements to ensure optimum stress isolation. Further, the new sensor package now includes matched pressure port volumes enhancing dynamic response times for fast pressure transient applications.
The industry-standard ported package is ideally suited for PCB mount applications with process connections via tubing or manifold mounting. This ease of use makes the DCXL ideal for many medical and HVAC devices as well as industrial instrumentation and environmental control.
