Polyurethane Polyether (open cell foam)

Polyurethane polyether is an open cell, all purpose, low cost highly resilient foam used in many applications. It has good hydrolytic (water) stability, and is available in many colours.

Polyurethane Polyester (open cell foam)

Polyurethane polyester is an open cell, flexible foam, generally used for applications where great resistance to oils and chemicals is required than polyurethane polyether. Ester foams can also be flame laminated to many assorted fabrics.

Reticulated Open Cell Foams

Reticulated foams are open cell polyurethane polyester or polyether that has the cell membrane removed to allow greater flow volume of air or liquid.
Precision Foam Manufacture a broad range of products from reticulated foam including air and liquid filters, cosmetic and shoe polish applicators, speaker grills, microphone wind noise reducers, air conditioning filters and sponges.

Cross Linked Polyethylene’s (PE) and Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) Closed Cell Foams

Polyethylene and ethylene Vinyl Acetate Foam are similar material and are difficult to tell apart. The main difference is:
  
• Polyethylene is firmer and more resistant to heat.
• Ethylene Vinyl Acetate is softer, more resilient and has stronger recovery after compression.

Non Cross linked Polyethylene (EPE)

Non cross linked polyethylene’s are a closed cell foam that have a large cellular structure that consist of individual closed cells of inert gas suspended in a polyethylene medium. It is high shock resistant and is able to handle repeated pressure on one area of foam.
Non cross linked polyethylene is commonly used as computer packaging, electronics packaging, fragile equipment packaging, glass packing and protective packaging.
