High performance, pre-wired, and competitively-priced 9V Insulated Battery Straps, designed to connect most 9V batteries in series or in parallel, are now available from Keystone Electronics Corp.
Keystone's high performance "Premium" design is made of molded Polyethylene or rigid fiber which incorporate high quality insulators and sturdy proven Phosphor Bronze or Spring Steel, Nickel-plated, snap-on connectors. Available in "T" or "I" configurations, these straps provide greater dependability while featuring soldered-in #26AWG red and black wire leads; three (3) lengths -4.00"(l01.6mm), 6.00"(l52.4mm), and 8.00"(203.2mm) each vinyl covered; and 4.00"(101.6mm), 6.50"(l65mm) and 8.00"(203.2mm) each fiber covered. Shielded types which reduce short circuit and contact tampering potential, are also offered.
A cost-saving alternative, the company's "Economy" group features a similar design and is available in "T" 0 "I" configurations. Fully insulated, these have Brass, Nickel-plated contacts with a molded ABS or vinyl covered bases. Wire lengths are 4.00" (I01.6mm), 6.00" (I 52.4mm) or 8.00" (203.2mm). Lead lengths are in red and black.
The third style (PN 227) is a pre-wired "Dual" battery strap which connects 9V batteries in parallel. These are manufactured with fiber bases and have Steel, Nickel-plated contacts. Featured are pre-tinned #22AWG red and black leads; and wire lengths of 7.00" (178mm) length, soldered-in for exceptional reliability.
