New Aussie made diesel cleaner

Spitwater, a leading manufacturer of pressure cleaners, has released a new Australian made diesel-powered pressure cleaner.

The new Model HP15210DE pressure cleaner is powered by a highly reliable Kubota OC95 Diesel engine.

The new machine is a heavy-duty cold water high pressure cleaner for big cleaning jobs where a diesel powered machine is required.

Designed and built in Spitwater’s own Albury manufacturing plant, Model HP15210DE pressure cleaner is a gem.

It offers all of the benefits expected of a large, powerful cold water high pressure cleaner as well as the additional smart and exclusive Spitwater features.

The machine has a 15L/min water flow at 3150 psi pressure – the largest in its class.

The heart of the machine is an industrial brass head Interpump pump with three ceramic pistons – ideal for our water conditions.

The pump is coupled to a 9.5 hp, Kubota Model OC95 Diesel engine, using the Spitwater “Oz-Tuff” belt system.

This simple, efficient, power transmission system uses two toothed pulleys, one larger than the other, for the correct drive ratio.

With the pulleys fitted to the engine crankshaft on one side and the pump crankshaft on the other, keyways to both pulleys are locked down with grub screws.

This ensures that both pulleys become an integral part of their shafts and are not able to move and cause damage to the shaft or keyway.

Connecting the two pulleys is the proven Spitwater Oz-Tuff toothed, flexible, rubber/Kevlar, 30 mm wide, 200 mm diameter belt.

The new Kubota OC series engine with ACTV system, fitted to this pressure cleaner, is based on Kubota’s superior overall technological capability.

The ACTV system, an original Kubota development, is an Advanced Cooling Three Vortex (ACTV) system that cools the combustion chamber with oil and the cylinder with air.

At the same time, one of the main characteristics of Three Vortex Combustion System (TVCS) is noise reduction. As a result of this, the combination of ACTV and TVCS enables the OC series engine to maintain low noise levels.

In addition, the flow of lube oil around the combustion chamber absorbs noise and reduces it to a level near to water-cooled engines.

There is less vibration too. Kubota’s new technology with the standard single shaft balancer ensures that there is less vibration.

A standard 12V electric start system provides smooth, easy starting.

The new machine is manufactured in a locally made, zinc-annealed and powder-coated chassis and the Spitwater trademark red, newly designed roll-over frame.

Model HP15210DE is fitted with a large water cooling tank – a Spitwater feature.

This tank acts like a radiator in a car and is designed to allow full, 100 per cent water bypass in trigger-closed mode. This system offers real protection from temperature fluctuations in the pump.

The new Model HP15210DE is supplied ready to go with 10m of heavy-duty, 3/8 inch diameter, high pressure hose, high quality heavy duty 5000 psi gun with back part of lance and a dual stainless steel front part of lance with a high and low pressure valve.

Model HP15210DE is ideal for many industrial applications where petrol is not a fuel of choice, including mining applications, earthmoving equipment, trucking operators, large workshops and even on-farm use.
