More LATMA Success for Insignia

For the third year running, national prime label manufacturer, insignia, has been officially recognised for its superior workmanship, winning bronze at the prestigious Label and Tag Manufacturer’s Association (LATMA) awards.

insignia’s latest LATMA accolade was awarded for their 4P’s Organics - Primo Vino Pasta Sauce entry, which contested the highly competitive category of “Labels flexography line and screen/tone”.

“In layman’s terms, this category scrutinises the precision and technique with which the print is applied to the label,” said insignia General Manager, Jack Winson.

“Having spent the last three years focusing heavily on print quality and consistency, it is fantastic to have the peak industry body recognise our hard work in this area.”

insignia’s bronze medal success in 2007 follows their 2006 LATMA Gold (Lemnos Black Forest Cream Cheese) and Bronze (Bananas with Alttitude) in the Labels flexography colour process category.

In 2005 the company earned a Bronze (Bilpin Apple Juice) and Highly Commended (Calisto Fuel Sports Food) in the same flexography colour process category, along with a further Highly Commended (Nature’s Premium Honey) in the Labels flexography line and screen/tone division.

Mr Winson believes insignia’s growing cache of awards has arisen from progressive and continual investment in plant, equipment and skills.

“This in turn has taken the company’s production capabilities to a more sophisticated level,” he said.

“Today our customers have access to 8 colour process printing plus embellishments, all of which are produced using state-of-the-art flexographic presses and ancillary equipment.

“Our nation-wide sales and service coverage simplifies the production process dramatically, and assures customers of consistently high quality… and we are proud to say that LATMA agrees!” Mr Winson said.
