Accuweigh recently released the Prisma MDF11 metal detection machine designed for detecting metal contaminates in pills, tablets, sweets and other small size objects. The metal detection scanning capability is 10,000 pieces per minute and the metal detection head is fully adjustable for the height and angle to ensure the best possible speed and metal detection accuracy.
Made entirely out of stainless steel, this Italian made, metal detection machine is sealed to IP65 standards making complete sanitisation possible in line with FDA-HACCP standards. The MDF11 metal detector is very compact with a base footprint of just 500mm x 575 mm.
The metal detection electronics feature full digital scanning, automatic calibration, phase regulation and automatic compensation of the effect produced. Metal detection images can be exported for storage or printing along with product totals and rejects for multiple products.
Available accessories with the MDFF11 metal detection machine includes waste collection tank with security key, waste check sensors, signalling lights and Ethernet connections. Prisma is one of Europe’s leading food inspection systems manufacturers and was established in 1984.
Accuweigh has installed scores of metal detection machines for food inspection use across Australia and we are one of the few companies that offers national service and support through a network of sales and service branches in all mainland states.
