A state-of-the-art corporate office and customer service centre built recently on its warehouse site in Brisbane’s east will further improve Signet’s already acclaimed
customer service, says managing director Mark Brennan.
The national safety and packaging supplies company moved into its new building in April, enabling better customer service by bringing staff into the one building after a year of temporary accommodation.
Signet has been at the 5-acre site at Wakerley for more than 30 years.
“The new building is already boosting morale and making it easier for staff to complete their tasks,” says Mr Brennan.
“The new building means access to internal resources and personnel is vastly improved, with much better amenities such as meeting rooms, staff facilities, phone systems, natural lighting, and colour-coded open plan work stations.
“All of this adds up to happy staff, improved service and happy customers.”
Signet also has two other warehouses on the eastern seaboard (Townsville and Sydney), and is planning further expansion into Melbourne.
Signet’s sister company, national labeling business Insignia, also shares the new office and warehouses at Wakerley.
Mr Brennan said the ability to service Signet’s 35,000 customers from the one building was a major achievement.
“This building will serve us – and our customers – well for years to come,” he said.
