CGB Precision Products has introduced a new level of corrosion resistant bearings to Australia.
The corrosion resistant bearings manufactured from SV30 alloy steel by GRW Germany offer a new dimension in bearing steel.
SV30 is distinguished by its improved alternating bending strength, elongation at rupture, high temperature resistance, toughness and chemical resistance to offer:
- Higher resistance to corrosion than the 440C series of bearings
- Longer life
- Better running behaviour at high temperatures, in contaminated environments, with reduced lubrication or dry running
SV30 combined with ceramic balls offer a hybrid bearing with extended life ideally suited to:
- Medical-surgical equipment, blood pumps and dental turbines
- Food industry-stirrers
- Chemical industry-flow meters, applications in hostile environments
SV30 is available across the complete range of GRW bearings with high-precision miniature and small bearings from 1 to 17mm bore and 3 to 40mm outside diameter, available in metric and imperial-accuracy from P0 (ABEC 1) to P2 (ABEC 9).
GRW can offer a range of ball bearing configurations including deep groove, flanged and extended inner rings, angular contact and duplex bearings all with a variety of cages, closures and lubricants.
