CompAir goes from strength to strength

Leading compressed air and gas system manufacturer CompAir has further strengthened its market position after becoming part of the mammoth US-based
Gardner Denver Group.

The strategic acquisition of CompAir by Gardner Denver (New York stock exchange listed) will shake-up the Australian market, with CompAir locally gaining access to a
significantly enhanced product range to complement the company’s leading range
of compressors and aftermarket services.

Managing director Gary Woodhead said the news has been positively received by CompAir employees and customers.

“While CompAir already has a major presence in the Australian market, the addition of Gardner Denver as our parent will provide another platform for growth for the industries and customers we serve,” said Woodhead.

The sheer scale of Gardner Denver would enable CompAir to boost its competitiveness
on the Australasian market and provide enhanced service to clients.

CompAir’s strong financial performance, its geographical spread and access to its unique Quantima compressor technology had prompted the Gardner Denver interest
in the company.
