Cascade launches wine barrel attachments

Cascade introduced the wine barrel attachment to the Australian and New Zealand wine industry.

Wine barrel attachment has been designed by the Cascade team of engineers who are the world leaders in the design and manufacture of all types of forklift attachments and machinery in the United States, specifically for the Australian and New Zealand wine industry.

Visit Alpha Racking on October 26, 2007 and experience first- hand live demonstration of the wine barrel handle barrels and place them into the pallet storage system in the Sticks valley winery.

Cascade, will be on site to complete live demonstrations and answer all of your inquiries about the benefits of this time- and cost effective solution.

Meet with other wine makers from your regions and learn new ways to improve your business and supply chain advancements.

Wine barrel attachment is a cost effective solution to increase your space and productivity and save your business time and is a ready addition that may be attached to any type of forklift meeting the basic requirements.

Cascade's wine barrel handler simplifies the barrel handling process.

Designed to work in the ‘cave’ or ‘narrow aisle’ operations, the wine barrel handler allows a lift truck driver to easily grab a barrel from a stack, lower it to the ground or move it to the desired location.

A 180-degree swinging fork assembly mounted on a full-width traversing frame allows the driver to pick up a barrel from either the left- or the right-hand side of a narrow aisle. The wine barrel handler can handle most types and sizes of wine barrels. Also included in the fork cradle design are rollers to aide in the manual spinning of the barrel for mixing.
