Beware of counterfeit ink cartridges

Roland DG Corporation, a leading provider of wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters, has warned businesses and individuals to beware of counterfeit ECO-SOL MAXTM ink cartridges now being sold on the Australian market.

The fake cartridges are designed to look like a genuine cartridge and are misleading customers.

Roland DG is taking action to pursue those promoting and selling counterfeit cartridges.

The company warns that the content of the fake cartridges could be harmful to both users and Roland machines.

The fraudulent cartridge looks almost identical to the genuine ECO-SOL MAXTM cartridge, with a few minor differences, making it hard to tell them apart.

The fake cartridges do not carry a genuine Roland DG Corporation logo. The physical packaging also differs slightly to the genuine product.

Roland DG has advised customers to purchase ECO-SOL MAXTM cartridges only from an authorised Roland DG dealer.
