Albany Door Systems showing working doors at MATEX 2007

Albany Door Systems will be displaying a working Re-Coil-Away door along with a new panel door system on Stand 410 during the MATEX 2007 warehouse and materials handling exhibition, to be held in conjunction with National Manufacturing Week at Melbourne’s Exhibition & Convention Centre from May 22 to May 25.

Albany Door Systems provides a range of high-performance roll-up industrial doors that can be tailored to suit almost any opening or application. The extra rugged Re-Coil-Away door can span a distance of 15 m wide by 10 m, and according to Albany Door Systems, it has no equivalent in the high-speed door market.

Also on display at Albany Door Systems’ stand, will be a number of other working doors from its range, including the recently released RT110 Panel Lift door, the Rapid Roll 600 and the Rapid Roll 3000L. The RT110 is Albany Door Systems entry into the panel lift door market, and is available in widths of up to 8 m and various head heights. The RT110 features high speed performance and has good thermal properties.

The Rapid Roll 600 is designed for demanding environments and intensive traffic, and offers an opening speed of up to 3.0 m/s, while still being very safe. The Rapid Roll 3000 L is a light version of the Rapid Roll 3000 and features aluminium and clear PVC slats that give this door higher transparency due to the large vision panels.

All of the industrial doors in the range are designed with occupational health and safety in mind, and incorporate door line photocells and pneumatic safety edges that reverse the door should any object obstruct the door.
