D-Link ANZ has expanded its DIS series of industrial gigabit switches with the DIS-100G series of 5-port unmanaged industrial switches available in a combination of PoE, non-PoE, Ethernet, or SFP-based port configurations.

The company reckons that new switches offer a complete solution for demanding indoor and outdoor industrial network applications, including factory automation, intelligent transportation systems and other harsh environmental conditions.

The switches are protected by IP30-rated industrial-grade enclosures, and feature 2kV surge protection on all ports. The DIS series also features a cold start capability in environments with temperatures as low as -40°C with full-load operation at up to +75°C.

All switches in the DIS series support dual power inputs to provide power redundancy, and the PoE version can deliver up to 30W of power per port to connected PoE devices with a total PoE power budget of 120W.
