Triple Scissor Lift with a twist

Late last year Safetech built and installed a 4.7m triple scissor lift with 3 tonne lifting capacity for a major Australian grocery retailer.

The scissor lift was required to move pallet loads of goods into the store from the dock. But the existing shaft that the lift table was going into was narrow and high, which made the design a geometric challenge.

Safetech were able to design, construct and install a scissor lift into the pre-existing space without compromising the durability or safety of the lift.

This custom scissor lift was able to be installed into the narrow shaft and now provides the store with safe, effective pallet handling.

The customer now has a new scissor lift installed and operating with minimal disruption to the stores activities throughout the installation period.

Specifications and safety features include a 2.7m x 2m deck with corner guides in each corner, kick rails on three sides and interlocking controls.

Safetech have designed more than 4000 scissor lift tables from 100kg to more than 20 tonnes with platforms suited to smaller than pallet size up to 10m x 3m.

Customers can be confident Safetech lift tables will perform as required and last for many years – in even the toughest of industrial and commercial environments.
