Triple scissor lift a smart move for leading food retailer

A major Australian grocery retailer needed a specialised lift to move pallet loads of goods from the dock into the store at one of its outlets.

The shaft that the lift table was going into was narrow and high which made the geometry challenging. It was also very important that the scissor be reliable and durable as it was the main point of access for goods into the store.

The company chose the Safetech AST3-4700 scissor lift, which provided the perfect solution.

This is a customised 3 tonne Australian built scissor lift table with a 2.7m x 2m deck with corner guides in each corner, kick rails on three sides and interlocking controls.

The AST3-4700 was installed into the narrow shaft and now provides the store with safe, effective pallet handling.

Safetech’s engineering team has more than 50 years of experience and knowledge in designing custom scissor lifts, ensuring its customers receive economical and practical solutions to their handling needs.
