TAFE NSW to showcase latest industry innovation

The 2012 TAFE NSW Innovation and Excellence Showcase to be held in Sydney next month will feature an exhibition of over 70 project booths, workshops, keynote speakers and collaborative activities.

To be hosted by TAFE NSW – Sydney Institute, the Showcase will provide excellent networking opportunities.

The Sydney Institute will celebrate its links and partnerships with industry and community organisations – including current partnerships across NSW.

Staff from TAFE NSW will exhibit projects that demonstrate innovative practices and excellence, across five categories: Learning Outcomes, Partnerships, Support Services, Sustainability and Inclusion.

Projects include partnerships with the manufacturing, mining and construction industries, training opportunities for remote and disadvantaged communities, sustainable practices, connecting students to industry and more.

An awards ceremony and reception will be held immediately after the Showcase. The top projects in each category will be recognised as well as the overall 2012 Innovation and Excellence Project of the Year and the People’s Choice Award.

The Showcase will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, on Thursday November 8.

If you are not able to attend on the day, you can still participate via our website and Twitter @tafeinnovation, #tafeinnovation.
