Save time and your back with Dematic’s new ErgoPall

Occupational Health and Safety is a major issue for every business, especially those that have highly repetitive tasks or when staff are required to handle heavy goods.

This usually applies to the manual loading of building pallets.

Dematic’s new ErgoPall is a high performance system that allows operators to ergonomically build mixed product pallet loads.

ErgoPall incorporates clever sequencing software that delivers cases to operators in the order they need.

The operator then simply slides the cases into position onto the empty pallet, which is positioned at an ergonomic height.

Lifting is virtually eliminated and, as each layer of cases is completed, the pallet is then automatically lowered, allowing assembly of the next layer to begin at the same comfortable height, significantly improving safety and throughput.

When the build is complete, the pallet is automatically stretch-wrapped as it is lowered through the mezzanine floor with a lift. This ensures a stable, conveyable pallet load.

With the flexibility of being able to run a station with one or two operators at a time – each handling about 800 items an hour – ErgoPall provides considerably faster palletising rates compared to conventional manual palletising.
