RS Components responds to demand with 300 new products

To meet growing demand for Industrial IoT solutions, RS Components launched another 300 products in their RS PRO IoT range in June.

Some of the products in the range are IO-link sensors, data cables and HMI displays, including antennas and network testing equipment. The company now offers over 8,400 IoT enabling and smart connectivity products.

RS Components AU/NZ Managing Director, Scott Philbrook says, “We’re helping our customers embrace the IoT revolution.

“From wireless pressure transducers, to help safely monitor pressure in hazardous or inaccessible locations, to sensor boxes, which are compatible with all sensor brands, our Industrial IoT range has what our customers need to improve their operational efficiency.”

He expects the new IoT range to be welcomed by RS PRO’s loyal customer base and acknowledges that these people recognise that as demand on productivity increases, only the workplaces with the best tools will win the race to greater efficiency.

Scott says that the company has responded to growing market demand from engineers looking for affordable options.

He says the company has seen an upswing in sourcing our current IoT product range and that due to other product verticals they have decided to work on the new range.

Each RS PRO product is supported by the RS Seal of Approval, which represents industry audit, inspection, test and certification standards. The company is so confident in the quality of their new products that they are also offering longer than average product warranties.

RS Components, formerly Electrocomponents plc is a multinational provider of product and service solutions for designers, builders and maintainers of industrial equipment and operations. The company stocks over 700,000 industrial and electronic products that are sourced from over 2,500 leading suppliers and they provide a wide range of product and service solutions to more than 1.2 million industrial customers.
