Arlin Components & Hardware has expanded its portfolio of control and signalling devices following the award of an exclusive distribution deal from French switch manufacturer BACO.
BACO’s ranges of pilot devices, switches, cam switches and switch disconnectors are all premium quality devices that Arlin’s ANZ National Sales Manager Anil Garyali predicts will find great support from builders of machines and control panels in both Australia and New Zealand, as well as in the access control market.
“This is a major coup for us to be able to introduce such a premium brand to the ANZ market,” says Garyali. “And with all products backed by a 10 year manufacturer’s guarantee, the quality and reliability of the BACO range will make them a first choice for machinery and control cabinets, particularly in critical industrial applications.”
The BACO range includes a large variety of AC-rated pushbuttons (22 or 30mm), pilot lights, selector switches and enclosures for a wide range of standard industrial or commercial applications. Their highly modular design enables maximum design flexibility with a minimum holding of components.
Snap-in designs simplify installation, and most components carry an IP66 rating. (Many are available optionally rated to IP67 for washdown environments.)
The BACO range of rotary cam switches covers a range from 10 to 250A, with more than 50,000 different electrical configurations available. Each one uses a metal shaft rated for more than a million operations.
BACO switch disconnectors are based on a modular design with three central elements that allow users to cover a full range of applications. All devices satisfy IEC 947-3 and EN 60 947-3 standards and have UL and cUL approvals.
