RS Components has expanded its RS Pro range of connection devices with a number of additions that are well suited to general industrial, instrumentation, and medical applications, as well as being suitable for harsh environments.

The additions include IP68 waterproof connectors featuring robust plastic shells, and with cable and panel mount options that are available in 13, 17 and 21mm panel cutout types.

Also new are washdown-rated M8 and M12 connectors that are sealed to IP69K and so are ideal for use in the food and beverage industry. These connectors combine plastic housings with stainless-steel coupling nuts, providing resistance to chemicals and oil.

All products in the RS Pro portfolio are designed as cost-effective direct replacements for branded off-the-shelf products.

Other additions to the RS Pro interconnection range include: a series of halogen-free cordsets suitable for both office and industrial applications; and white DC-power connectors for medical and consumer applications. Also new are ranges of male and female pluggable PCB terminal blocks in a range of pitches, which are approved to UL and VDE standards.
