For increased productivity and formidable versatility, the Pemserter Series 4 insertion machine from PennEngineering provides speed, convenience and quality in one robust package.

Available now from Ampec Technologies, the Pemserter Series 4 is totally pneumatic – providing short cycle time and an adjustable insertion force from 1.8 to 53.4 kN (six tonnes).

The Series 4’s throat depth of 45.7 cm (18”) provides clearance for a variety of chassis configurations. PennEngineering has designed the Series 4 to install self-clinching fasteners (PEM and others) in size M2 (#0) through M10 (3/8”) in steel, and up to M12 (1/2”) in aluminium panels or circuit boards.

PennEngineering has pioneered fastener installation equipment since 1967, when the first Pemserter fastener insertion press was released. The benefits of installation speed, quality and cost reduction have been standard features ever since, and remain true in the Series 4.

The features in this latest iteration of the Pemserter include pneumatic power for simple operation, adjustable positive ram stop, a large parts tray with dividers, rapid tooling changeover, a laser pointer, a stroke counter, and a lockable cabinet for tools and accessories storage.
