PNEUMATIC ACTUATORS INCLUDE ADAPTIVE CUSHIONING SYSTEM

28-04-2017

Available from IMI Precision Engineering, the ISOLine range of pneumatic actuators are the first to include the new IMI Norgren Adaptive Cushioning System (ACS).

This novel system automatically adjusts the cylinder cushioning for different loads, removing the need for manual cushion screw setting, simplifying the installation process, and enabling smoother and safer operation.

The ISOLine actuators are ISO 15552 compliant, and are up to 20% lighter than earlier generations of pneumatic cylinders. Other improvements include lower breakaway pressure and reduced minimum speed.

The actuators have been designed with a modern look and a clean profile, and are available in sizes from 32 to 125mm. Options for additional switch mounts offer greater design flexibility for system builders.

The ISOLine completes the IMI Norgren range of high-performance ISO-standard cylinders, which the company claims now offers a cylinder for any application.
