NEWLY REDESIGNED REACTION TORQUE SENSOR WITH OVERLOAD PROTECTION

Futek has introduced the newly redesigned TFF400 reaction torque sensor, made from aluminium and anodised for optimum durability, and featuring a lower deflection and robust flexure.

It features a flange-to-flange mounting solution with torque measurements ranging from 0.04 to 56Nm and an improved torsional stiffness of 4 to 862Nm/rad, making it stiffer and faster. It offers up to 300 per cent overload protection on lower capacities and is easily integrated into OEM applications.

The through-hole counter-bore design allows the assembly to be kept concentric and limits the chances of offsetting the torque. With the recommended mounting plate, a full range of mounting options becomes available.

Applications include testing of fasteners, automotive and aerospace engines, automotive brakes and prosthetic limbs.

Futek Advanced Sensor Technology is represented in Australia and New Zealand by Metromatics.
