Suhner Australia has released its all-new ‘A’ Battery Series of portable grinders.

This new portable range is ideal for the Australian market, providing portability and convenience when grinding and polishing stainless steel and aluminium.

The new series includes the portable ASC 9 straight grinder, the ABC 7 belt grinder, the AKC 3 fillet weld grinder and the ATC tube polisher.

Designed to provide the user with maximum flexibility, mobility and ease of use, the range is perfect for grinding and tube polishing in the workshop, on building and work sites, and difficult to reach areas.

As well as mobility these grinders provide added safety, as the units are cordless and have a built-in shutdown mechanism should they overheat or become overloaded.

All four models feature the latest generation of electric motor as well as efficient battery technology as standard.

For continuous use, all four models come with two battery packs.

Built to last, the Battery Series is robust and durable.

A shock absorbent rubber jacket shields the battery packs from hard knocks.

The tools are ergonomic, lightweight, lean and compact for easy use.

The mobile ATC 7 tube polisher is perfect for polishing stainless steel and aluminium tubes up to 48mm in diameter.

It offers excellent manoeuvrability on tight elbows and its wraparound angle of at least 180º ensures fast and efficient work.

The AKC 3 portable fillet weld grinder was specifically developed for metalwork. It features a long neck so that you can reach tight places on railings and other metal structures.

At just 2.2kg with the battery pack, handling the tool is easy.

The mobile ASC 9 straight grinder works best with nonwoven brushes and flap wheels.

It is perfect for removing tarnish and blending matt surfaces. It has a high torque and maintains an even speed when in use.

The battery operates at a speed of 9000rpm

and the tool weighs just 2kg with the battery.

The portable ABC 7 belt grinder has been designed specifically for use in tight spaces where you are required to work in fillet welds or mitres.

It delivers extremely fast grinding and polishing belt changes, and can be fitted with 3, 6 and 12mm belts.

To provide the greatest possible flexibility, users can also choose from 6 different optional contact arms available for belts 3, 6, 12, 16, and 19mm wide.

The ABC 7 operates at a speed of 7000rpm and weighs just 2.4kg with the battery pack.

All four cordless tools come with a durable, hard wearing plastic case with two batteries and fast charger unit.
