Profibus is one of the largest open industrial fieldbusses in the world and Belden has a complete solution from cables, switches and connectors to I/O modules and repeaters.

Many new products have recently been introduced from all Belden brands including Hirschmann and Lumberg Automation.

Belden can assure companies involved in factory automation (DP) and process automation (PA) that its Profibus solutions can withstand extreme temperature variations, high moisture levels, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference and operate over long distances.

Belden's DataBus cables are now available in a stranded design for additional flexibility as well as a continuously corrugated aluminium armour product for additional protection.

New Hirschmann products include the new Profinet I/O switches, which offer switch management via the PLC.

Two new bus coupling and six new I/O modules have been added to the range of Lumberg Automation LioN-Link I/O systems.
