Answering demands for higher bandwidth in large industrial networks, the Hirschmann MSP40 modular managed switch is now available from Control Logic with optional 10Gbit/s uplinks.

Depending on the modules specified, the MSP40 is available with up to 28 Gigabit Ethernet ports and includes everything from 10Base-T up to 10Gbit/s SFP+ connections in either layer 2 or layer 3 variations.

Its small size and rugged casing make the MSP40 ideal for industrial applications that have limited space, such as trackside or underground.

The choice of the MSP40 with 10Gbit uplinks is ideal for applications requiring significant bandwidth while still requiring an industrial solution either now or for the extended lifespan offered by Hirschmann devices.
