Poynting Antennas, a global leader of innovative and reliable antenna solutions, will have its range made available across Australia by Madison Technologies.

The partnership sees Madison Technologies, a 28-year industry veteran, handle distribution of Poynting’s market-leading product range in the Australia region.

Headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, Poynting innovates, designs and manufactures its products, which are used wireless communication solutions. Poynting has a number of patent designs and commercial developments that support wireless high-speed data applications.

Poynting also provides solutions for 3G/4G/5G and LTE, GPS, IoT LoRa and Sigfox, as well as RFID and WiFi applications.

The Poynting antenna range is used across the world and supports many applications that require wireless communications across industrial IoT applications including sectors such as mining and tunnelling, utilities, transport, marine, agriculture and renewables.

Madison Technologies CEO Paul Calabro says the partnership is in keeping with his company’s dedication to helping partners find practical and reliable solutions for communications and networking challenges.

The Poynting antenna product range includes features such as resilient communications capability, ruggedized and slim design benefits built specifically for tunnelling and mining operations, easy integration with Rajant’s Kinetic Mesh Networks and BreadCrumb nodes, and industry-leading warranty and patent registrations (over 20 patents to date).
