Kemppi unveils new software solution to improve welding management

26-06-2014

Leading Australian welding equipment supplier, Kemppi Australia, has launched a new modular software solution for improved welding management.

The Kemppi ARC System 3 is designed to improve the management of welding procedures, welder qualifications and welding equipment fleet results in high welding production performance, EBIT growth and cost competitiveness.

And importantly, it can significantly reduce lead time.

Kemppi ARC System 3 enables the customer to choose modules for developing any part of the production process, including quality, project management or productivity.

Kemppi ARC System 3 is part of Kemppi's new TWXM solution concept.

The launch follows Kemppi Oy’s (Kemppi Australia’s parent company) recent acquisition of Weldindustry AS, a Norwegian based company specializing in welding management software.

The offering has recently been completed with WeldEye, welding quality and documentation software by Weldindustry AS.

The acquisition is an important step in Kemppi's strategy for the future. Weldindustry is one of the pioneers in the development of welding management software and its WeldEye solution is a leading industry brand.

The Norwegian market has a strong focus on the offshore industry, which has provided an excellent platform for developing high-tech solutions for welding quality management.

'We are delighted to announce the launch of the new Kemppi ARC System 3 and the acquisition of Weldindustry AS,” said Anssi Rantasalo, CEO of Kemppi Oy.

“Kemppi has been impressed by the accomplishments of the Weldindustry team and the Weldeye solution, which is the most advanced of its kind.

“Kemppi ARC System 3, on the other hand, is the most advanced solution for combining equipment technology and online data for welding management.”

Tore Haukanes, founder of Weldindustry AS, said Kemppi's expertise and international networks will offer Weldindustry a new platform for future growth and success.
