New from Backplane Systems Technology, the Neousys Technology POC-300 Series is a compact DIN-rail-mounting fanless PC controller with a ruggedised design for industrial applications.

Processing power comes from the new Intel Apollo Lake Pentium N4200 and Atom E3950 with up to 8Gbyte of RAM for high-performance applications. I/O Interfaces include four COM ports, four USB ports, four isolated digital I/Os, two Gigabit Power over Ethernet ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port and an mSATA port. There is also a spare Mini-PCIe slot with a USIM socket for wireless connections.

Further expansion can be provided using the Neousys MezIO module system, which can be used to add extra COM ports or an additional PCIe socket.

The POC-300 Series is based on an aluminium alloy chassis that provides increased heat dissipation and enables the fanless design. Operating temperature range is a wide -25 to +70°C.
