HIGH SPEED DOORS ANSWER CARPARK SECURITY ISSUES

Secure carpark doors

The security of carparks is a safety issue that is becoming increasingly important, and in many cases boom gates or slow action sectional doors do not provide the level of security required, allowing unauthorised entry that can lead to theft or vandalism.

The first step in designing a secure carpark door is gaining an understanding of the frequency and type of traffic flow. And while there are many different doors on the market used for large openings, when traffic flow increases, these slow action type doors will often remain in the open position, compromising not only security but dust and temperature control.

The Efaflex High Speed Door is the premium solution to this problem as is rigorously designed to be an effective and reliable alternative.

Efaflex is a German manufacturer of premium high-speed spiral, roll up and folding doors and is represented by DMF International Australia wide.

These specialised fast action doors can be used both internally and externally across all types of facilities, including warehouses, carparks of high-rise buildings, emergency facilities, correctional centres, production facilities and shops.

Efaflex provides secure access control though fast action opening and closing technology. With opening speeds of approximately 2m/s, Efaflex doors reduce risks by minimising the time that the door is open.

Door blades are manufactured from a variety of materials including extruded double walled aluminium, insulated panels, clear polycarbonate, punched ventilated aluminium and flexible PVC.

These door blades are tracked securely within the door’s columns, providing a much higher level of security compared to a roller shutter door.

The door blade is a powerful design feature that does not roll onto itself but is instead tracked around a spiral design system, resulting in an extremely smooth and quiet operation.

In addition, the doors are controlled by a highly sophisticated electronic control system that provides a variety of program features to increase efficiency and speed. Advanced sensors also ensure safety and the many forms of activation methods can be customised.

With four decades of experience and development, Efaflex is committed to a philosophy of efficiency and in-house research. The result is fast action doors built to the superior quality you would expect from German engineering.
