Mouser Electronics stocks the Optiga Trust X security system from Infineon Technologies, a turnkey, hardware-based solution providing robust protection for a range of applications, including IoT, smart homes, medical devices and drones.

The system is based on an advanced security controller built on elliptic curve cryptography NIST P256, AES128 and SHA-256, plus built-in tamper-proof non-volatile memory to greatly enhance the overall security of the system. As a turnkey solution, it comes with the operating system, embedded applications and complete host side integration support, reducing design, integration and deployment requirements.

It supports a high-speed I²C communication interface up to 1MHz. Typical current consumption is 20mA, which drops to 70µA in sleep mode. Compliant with the USB Type-C authentication standard, the controller is available in both standard (-25 to +85°C) and extended temperature ranges (-40 to +105°C), in a compact 3 x 3mm PG-USON-10-2 package.
