Hands on Control with CDJ420 Joystick

17-09-2020

With a rugged, mechanical design and a whole host of on-board variables, the Control Devices CDJ420 series joystick can deliver sound performance in a wide variety of applications.

The CDJ420 is available in single and dual axis configurations and features multiple ergonomic grips and custom switch layouts.

Optional dual output redundancy and MOSFET isolated directional switches mean you can have it your way, particularly if a discrete signal for displacement is required.

The joystick can be supplied with a battery rail voltage anywhere from 8-30 V DC. The device conditions the voltage and supplies the appropriate voltage levels to both ends of the joystick pot taps, as well as the centre tap.

The output from the joystick is 4-20mA, and can be configured to give either 4mA or 12mA as the centre current.

A variety of handle options are also available. Take total control with the CDJ420 joystick, available now from Control Devices.
