Industrial communications specialist Garderos has teamed with Control Logic to distribute its range of products in Australia and New Zealand.

Garderos was spun off from Siemens in 2002, and specialises in providing secure data communication solutions for industrial companies that require large-scale deployments in harsh environmental conditions.

After establishing a solid foundation delivering project together, Control Logic is thrilled to offer Garderos’s portfolio to its broader customer base.

“With several projects now in its implementation and deployment stage, plus some very happy customers, we are seeing the benefits that the Garderos solution delivers firsthand,” says Lee Papadimitrious general manager of products and marketing at Control Logic.

“Garderos has been specifically designed for the industrial sector and have proven themselves to be best-in-class.”

Garderos’s multifunction router supports almost all communication standards, including 2G, 3G, 4G, ADSL, VDSL (NBN), Ethernet, serial and fibre in varying combinations.

The router, hardened against extreme thermal stress and electromagnetic interference, is best suited to organisations that need to manage a large number of devices in remote locations that require secure and reliable connectivity and centralised management.

The Garderos Config Server (GCS) software allows zero-touch provisioning, which automates deployment, maximises productivity and minimises human error with no field configuration required.

Garderos managing director Hermann Knauer is confident the brand will continue to strengthen throughout the Control Logic alliance.

“Control Logic have proven their capability and understanding of our Garderos solutions, and we are very happy to be partnered with them,” he says.

“Initially we had reservations about partnering with a distributor so far from home in Germany, but the projects we have been able to deliver together has proven to be a successful formula in combination with their strong technical capabilities.

“We are very excited for the future.”
