Customer Service Executive Indy Saggu receives the Lapp Australia Employee of the Year Award from Andreas Lapp

Family values were very much to the fore at the Lapp Australia Gala Event at Sydney Opera House on Monday, with two generations of the Lapp family in attendance.

Lapp Group Chairman Andreas Lapp was joined by nephews Matthias and Alexander Lapp at an event to celebrate the company’s success in the Australian market.

During the course of the evening, NSW Minister for Finance and Small Business Damien Tudehope welcomed the Lapp family to New South Wales, congratulating the company on establishing its Australian subsidiary in Western Sydney.

The Minister went on to praise the work of the volunteers of the NSW Rural Fire Service during the current bushfire crisis. This reference clearly struck a chord with Andreas Lapp, who immediately pledged a donation of $50,000 from Lapp Group to the NSW RFS Donations Fund.

Speaking after the event, Industry Update Publisher Scott Filby said: “Having spent some time with Andreas, Matthias and Alexander Lapp, I have been greatly impressed with the family values that drive the way that the Lapp Group goes about its business. The company operates like an extended family, and is never slow in offering a leg-up to those that need it. This immensely generous donation bears witness to that.”
