EXPANDED RANGE OF INDUSTRIAL ETHERNET SYSTEMS

21-03-2019

Lapp Australia is further expanding its industrial Ethernet systems portfolio with a greater range of its globally proven Etherline Access brand of active network components.

The greater range, examples of which will be featured at Stand G130 at AUSPACK 2019 in Melbourne from 26th to 29th March, means Lapp can now offer Australian and New Zealand customers everything in this field from one source.

In addition to data lines, plug connectors and accessories, the range incorporates managed and unmanaged switches that are also indispensable to guarantee secure and reliable communication in industrial networks.

“Naturally, the new Etherline Access range has the advantage of being of Lapp’s world quality standards, with the usual high availability and the familiar service,” says Lapp Australia General Manager Simon Pullinger.

Properties and benefits of the product include a redundant power supply, robust metal housing for installation on DIN top hat rails, IP30 class protection and a fanless, maintenance-free design.

The first appearance at AUSPACK of the fully fledged Lapp subsidiary in Australia, which opened in February 2018, will provide key markets with a unique overview and personal introduction to Lapp’s globally respected product families, used in Australia for more than 30 years and produced at 18 manufacturing locations on four continents. Lapp’s innovative products include data, Ethernet and fibre-optic cables, cable glands and connectors, and cable protection and marking systems.
