Newly available from ICP Australia is the company’s own DAS’ NS-216 Unmanaged 16-port Industrial 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet Switch.

For those in need of linking up to 16 workstations, the NS-216 has you covered. A whopping 16 Ethernet ports are the star of the show, and support 10/100 Base-TX with a 10/100M Auto-Negotiation feature and Auto MDI/MDI-X function for plug-and-play.

It automatically switches transmission speed (10Mbps or 100Mbps) for corresponding connections.

All Ethernet ports have memory buffers that support the store-and-forward mechanism, which assures that data can be properly transmitted. The NS-216 supports advanced network standards to optimise network performance, reduce maintenance costs and secure network safety.

The flow control mechanism is also negotiated, and there are link/data rate LEDs for each port to aid troubleshooting.

Other features of ICP’s new Ethernet Switch include support for operating temperatures from -25 degrees C to 75 degrees, full duplex IEEE 802.3x and half duplex backpressure flow control, DIN-rail mounting and wall mounting.
