Eureka: electrical breakthrough saves time and money

KAW Industries has launched the next Generation Connection cover to the Australian electrical market.

Known as Eureka, the connection cover has been designed to make not only prepping, but installation as quick as possible.

This not only adds value to the product, it also saves time and money.

The connection cover is a plastic cover design to encapsulate an electrical connection made via the use of a standard terminal block.

The latest electrical regulations state: “Where a connection is made the enclosure will provide adequate mechanical protection against relevant external influences.”

This means the cable entering the enclosure should have some form of cable clamping so as when the cable is pulled, the electrical connection is protected.

Also, the product only uses one screw (optional) and therefore dramatically reduces the amount of use of the screwdriver and therefore reduces the risk of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI)
