Eagle has landed at Belden

Belden has introduced the Hirschmann EAGLE Tofino range of security switches that protect control systems against network problems and cyber threats.

The new line is ideal for use by the process control and SCADA industries.

It combines a rugged security appliance with a collection of software modules that together provide practical and effective industrial network security.

The range is simple to implement and does not require plant shutdowns.

Belden's Hirschmann EAGLE Tofino distributed security solution quickly and cost-effectively implements cyber security protection within control networks.

Its flexible architecture allows users to create security zones throughout a control network to protect critical system components.

Applications include process control, SCADA systems, discrete control, oil and gas custody transfer, safety instrumentation systems, managing PLC programming stations, display-only HMI panels and partner access to telemetry data.
