Cleanscene makes buying green easy

10-02-2011

Clean & Green will be back as a major feature at this year’s Cleanscene national cleaning and hygiene expo.

Green cleaning, eco-label or environmentally friendly cleaning has gained huge momentum worldwide, with the global market estimated to be worth US$500bn.

It incorporates hundreds of products and services, some of which will be on show at Cleanscene at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from April 5-7.

For example, less abrasive cleaning products, systems requiring less water, quieter more energy efficient machinery and products that contain a greater percentage of recycled material, will all be on show.

Companies exhibiting as part of Cleanscene’s Clean & Green Feature are either certified or in the process of certifying their product or service under the Australian (GECA) or European (Eco-Label or Flower) green certification process or with Carbon Footprint.

Green and carbon certification demonstrates that these exhibitors are committed to conserving the environment and they do not use green, merely as a marketing tool.

The NCSA seminar series and NUCCRAs CleanLink conference program will run concurrently with Cleanscene.
