CLEANING STATION CUTS STATIC RISKS

Guardair has improved its Personnel Cleaning Station with the release of the NED (non-electrical-discharge) version, available in Australia from Knight Pneumatics.

The Personnel Cleaning Station NED runs from a standard compressed air supply. It combines a high-efficiency pneumatic vacuum with a proprietary, on-demand air-agitator brush attachment that loosens and lifts particles airborne into the vacuum hose for transport to the container.

Importantly, the NED version is constructed from electrically conductive components, and so avoids the buildup of static charges. This makes it safe for use with combustible materials commonly found in manufacturing, chemical, and food processing facilities.

There is also a pre-drilled mounting plate for mounting the unit on vertical surfaces, and this incorporates an earthing lug that provides an extra degree of safety.
