Fans Direct has released a new series of roof mounted kitchen exhaust fans to markets across Australia and NZ.

The new fans, code named the KMV Series, are an all-metal vertical discharge design.

They are powered by TEFC motors matched to high efficiency backward curve centrifugal impellers.

Though primarily designed for use in commercial kitchen exhaust systems, the fans are also suitable for general ventilation applications.

Key design features include motors mounted out of the air stream, fast release wind bands for easy cleaning, galvanised steel construction with powder coat finish and a wide range of sizes and performance levels.

The fans were designed in-house using state-of-the-art 3D computer aided design tools including simulated flow modelling to ensure optimised performance.

Technical data is available from the company’s electronic fan selection program, FansSelect which can be downloaded at: www.fansdirect.com.au
