BAG DISCHARGE SYSTEM IS SAFE FOR EXPLOSIVE ENVIRONMENTS

The latest Bulk-Out bulk bag discharging system from Flexicon uses a pneumatically powered hoist and trolley, and so is safe for use in explosive environments. The use of pneumatics to raise and position the bag inside the discharger frame, removes the risk of electrical sparks.

A clamp ring provides a high-integrity dust-tight seal between the bag spout and the equipment, and a telescopic tube maintains constant downward tension on the bag as it empties. This arrangement encourages the complete discharge of material from the bag – whether free-flowing or not.

The discharging system features an all-stainless-steel construction, and so can withstand corrosive environments and washdown with caustic cleaning solutions.

Options include a hopper and pneumatic flexible screw conveyor, a tubular cable conveyor or a rotary airlock valve to feed material into a pneumatic conveyor line.
