BACKPLANE SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY IN-VEHICLE COMPUTER THRIVES IN TOUGH CONDITIONS

Backplane Systems Technology has launched the Sintrones’ VBOX-3611-IP65, Intel Gen6 Core i7-6600U CPU with HD 520 GPU IP65, in-vehicle computer.

The new computer features a fanless box design and will operate in the toughest of conditions and environments, able to cope with dust, moisture and temperature change. The computer is ideal for supporting vehicles through extremes – think complex excavator operations and stacker application.

Backed by CE, FCC Class A and E-13 certifications, environmental tolerance is an undeniable strength of the computer. It can handle wide ranging operating temperatures (-40ºC ~ 70ºC), storage temperatures (-40ºC ~ 80ºC) and relative humidity (10% RH – 90% RH non-condensing).

The computer comes with memory up to 32GB 2 XDDR3 2133 MHz SO-DIMM, optional internal battery kit for 10 mins operating (Patent No. M447854 build-in battery), and a 9V~48V DC power input with automatics recovery short circuit power protection.

The VBOX-3611-IP65 is perfect for heavy-duty vehicles in harsh conditions.
