ACHIEVE HIGH-QUALITY MUSHROOMS WITH DRY FOG TECHNOLOGY

Accurate temperature and humidity controls are imperative throughout every stage of mushroom growth to ensure high-quality crops. Mushrooms are 90% water and have no skin to act as a barrier between their surface and the air. They will dry out and shrink quickly if humidity levels are too low, but too much moisture can lead to watery mushrooms.
The do-it-yourself AKIMist E dry fog humidifier kit uses world-leading technology to produce an ultra-fine, non-wetting dry fog with a mean droplet size of 7.5 microns. This droplet size, which is much smaller than misting solutions, allows increased humidity without creating dampness in mushroom-growing facilities. In fact, the droplets are so fine they remain intact when they come into contact with mushrooms, building surfaces and people, to ensure everything and everyone remains dry.
The compact, high-quality and economical humidifiers are designed and made in Japan. One kit can cover up to 800m2 with humidity levels monitored and regulated by a control unit. The do-it-yourself kit includes the humidifier, control unit, water unit and piping unit. The flexible design allows the spray to be focussed in different directions while being very water efficient with a capacity of 2.4 to 9.6L per hour. The modular design allows the addition of more units to increase the area to be humidified or to generate faster humidity.
The AKIMist E dry fog humidifier kit is also energy efficient. Using a pneumatic spray nozzle, its running costs are one-fifth of a typical steam humidification system.
