INDUCTIVE PROXIMITY SENSORS

Treotham Automation offer a large variety of Wenglor Inductive proximity switches with various housings, materials and functional principles for many types of applications. They are maintenance free, wear resistant, water-proof and insensitive to vibration and contamination.

The range includes:

Standard

  • Electromagnetic field generated by LC oscillating circuit
  • Output is switched when metal (steel) or non-ferrous metals (aluminium, brass) reach the switching distance

Weld field resistant

  • Available in a variety of mechanical designs and housing materials
  • Immune to welding and magnetic fields
  • For use in the automotive industry, welding, and aircraft manufacturing

Inox inductive

  • High impact resistance due to full metal housing of stainless steel
  • Resistant to chemicals and waterproof even with extreme pressure
  • Suitable for food processing industry, automotive industry and water jet cleaning

Analog output

  • Detect metals within their working range and identifies the distance to the object by a means of proportional voltage signal from 0 to 10 V
  • Work well in environments with extreme contamination

Non-ferrous

  • Non-ferrous magnetic metals include aluminium, brass, copper and stainless steel
  • Can differ between work pieces made of different materials

Extended range

  • Up the 4 times bigger switching distances then standard proximity switches
