• The CEGASA AIR-ALKALINE cells may outwardly appear similar to conventional alkaline cells, but internally they have substancial differences:CEGASA AIR-ALKALINE cells use a very small amount of cathodic active material when compared to that of conventional alkaline. Thus a larger amount of zinc anode can be stored in the cell and more electrical energy is available.
• The specially formulated manganese dioxide cathode can be continuously regenerated by oxidizing it with oxygen from the air, that penetrates through small openings in the cell and a unique cathode support system.
