Small DC motor makes a big impact

Sydney-based company M Rutty & Co has welcomed a new “member“ to its Dunkermotoren family of brush type DC motors.

The new GR 23 is a Powerful Brush-Type DC Motor boasting output power of up to 4.3W.

The GR 23 follows on from its predecessor, the GR 22. Continuous output torque has been increased, from 0.5Ncm to 1Ncm, as well as a 15 per cent increase in length.

The performance-optimised sleeve-bearing and brush system have been paired with innovative technologies including optimised commutator and improved rotor geometry.

GR 23 is a compact and versatile motor that can be adapted to suite various customer
applications, where different supply voltages or customised output shafts are required.

Also, the modular system provides the possibility to attach a wide spectrum of Dunkermotoren made, appropriately matched planetary gearboxes and encoders directly to the motor.

With its outstanding qualifications, the GR 23 brush-type DC motor feels at home in many fields of application.

Window automation and sun protection systems are addressed with this motor, mainly
in combination with planetary gearboxes and control electronics, optimised for this purpose.

This motor also finds a wide spectrum of applications in the fields of small appliances, industrial automation, equipment of vending machines/automats and in pump applications.
