Ramflex conduits love extreme environments

Protecting electric and other cables in aggressive environments requires the use of specialised conduits.

Now available from EC&M Electrical is the Ramflex RHC conduit range, which is ideal for use in conditions of extreme temperatures, as well as aggressive environments.

RHC conduits are designed to work in a temperature range of -60˚C to 150˚C.

The conduits will work in intermittent temperatures up to 160˚C. The conduits also have excellent oil, chemical and UV resistance.

Made using a high grade flexible galvanized steel core, RHC conduits are made with a superior thermosplastic rubber jacket, which is black in color. The conduits are liquid tight, do not contain halogens and have a flammability rating of UL 94-HB.

Applications include petrochemical plants, mining, food manufacture, rail cars, and tunnels.

They are ideal anywhere there are concerns about withstanding extreme temperatures and chemical exposure.

Supplied in 25m lengths, RHC conduits are available in a range of sizes from 16mm to 63mm.

Another feature of these conduits is their high flexibility.

For instance, the 16mm size is capable of an inside bend of 38.1mm.

RHC conduits can take brass, steel and stainless steel liquid tight fittings – all of which are available from EC&M Electrical.
